Under his leadership, the company has helped hundreds of international students to secure full time/internship/placement offers in the top-tier companies in the UK and abroad.
Career Mentor at CIUK. Specialises in application form reviewing, interview and assessment centre coaching. Students coached by him has landed offers from companies including HSBC, BDO, PwC, Lloyds Banking Group, KPMG, Deloitte and many more.
Nadia Idries is a Solicitor and Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal Immigration Team and specialises in the provision of immigration services to corporate and education sector clients. Nadia heads the Education & Immigration Sector team.
In Spring 2016, we held 4 career fair across the UK. Our Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London fair attracted over 10,000 International Students. For our London fair we received over 5,000 tickets and it was broadcasted & covered by national & international media channels. Our Key Guest Speaker at our London career fair was Minister Counsellor Jin Xu from the Chinese Embassy in London.
Built on from the success of the 1st fair and in order to meet the demand from more international students, in spring 2014 we then organised another 3 Work Experience Fairs in London, Birmingham and Manchester and attracted more than 5,500 students to attend. More renowned employers as well as distinguished guests such as the Lord Mayors of Birmingham and Manchester have shown their supports by attending and giving speeches at the fairs. The upcoming autumn 2014 fairs at London, Birmingham and Manchester are promised to be at even bigger scale and more employers from diverse industries will be joining.
CIUK is the UK’s only organisation who initiated and successfully held the UK’s first and only International Students Work Experience Fair on 30th January 2013 at London’s Canada Water Library. The 1st fair attracted more than 800 international students from all over the country and more than 20 renowned employers such as HSBC to attend.
